Commander Task Force 56

ARABIAN GULF (May 1, 2015) – Sailors and civilian contractors assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1 unload Underwater Unmanned Vehicles from rigid-hull inflatable boats (RHIB) during mine countermeasure training operations aboard the Afloat Forward Staging Base (Interim) USS Ponce (AFSB(I)-15). CTG 56.1 conducts mine countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage-diving, and force protection operations throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
