Staff Sgt. Heriberto Sanchez, the radar chief of Marine Air Control Group 28, Marine Aircraft Group 40, Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Afghanistan, sets up the Army Navy/Transportable Navigational Aid Air Traffic Navigation, Intergration and Coordination System. This system is a highly mobile, self-contained, tactical surveillance radar and precision-approach radar system that provides air traffic service at designated airfields and landing zones. The system allows the group to contact more aircraft, identifiy all aircraft in the area and allow aircraft to land and depart safely.
