150313-N-OT964-341 WASHINGTON (March 13, 2015) Ima Black speaks during a ceremony naming the Guided-Missile Destroyer (DDG 119), after her late husband, Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Delbert D. Black. Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus officially released the name of DDG 119 as the future USS Delbert D. Black, which is the first U.S Navy ship to be named after a Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, and honors the legacy of service of the Navy's first MCPON, Delbert D. Black.
