150313-N-OT964-320 WASHINGTON (March 13, 2015) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus speaks during the ship naming ceremony announcing the Guided-Missile Destroyer (DDG 119), as the future USS Delbert D. Black. Mabus officially released the name of DDG 119, which is the first U.S Navy ship to be named after a Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, and honors the legacy of service of the Navy's first MCPON, Delbert D. Black. Also in attendance at the United States Navy Memorial was Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Mike Stevens, and MCPON Black's surviving widow, Ima Black.
