F-16CG Fighting Falcon over central Iraq, 14 May, 2006. The fighter is deployed to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW), Balad Air Base, Iraq from its homestation 177th Fighter Wing (ANG), Atlantic City, New Jersey. In two months, Balad Air Base's two F-16 squadrons fly about 6,000 hours -- more than a U.S.-based unit flies in one year. The 332 AEW is a Total Force team consisting of about 77-percent active duty, 18-percent Guard, 4-percent Reserve and 1-percent civilian. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Lance Cheung)
