Eric K. Fanning, acting under secretary of the Army, is introduced to the joint precision aerial delivery system by riggers of the 82nd Sustainment Brigade at Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 11. The joint precision aerial delivery system allows the delivery of supplies by air to drop zones smaller than a football field. Fanning visited the post to observe both conventional and special operations capabilities first hand and to discuss concerns of the individual soldiers and commanders. Fort Bragg is the home of the nation's premier rapid deployment ground force, capable of deploying with little to no-notice anywhere in the world in 18 hours. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt.
