Eric K. Fanning, acting under secretary of the Army, dons a training parachute harness at the Advanced Airborne School on Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 11. Fanning visited the post to observe both conventional and special operations capabilities first hand and to discuss concerns of the individual soldiers and commanders.
