WHITE BEACH, Okinawa (Aug. 27, 2015) - Hospitalman 2nd Class Justin Brown from Washington, Ill., gives the stop hand signal to an amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) that was loaded onto landing craft utility (LCU) 1666 in the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48).
