U.S. 7TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Oct. 18, 2015) The Military Sealift Command's dry cargo ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6) performs a vertical replenishment while sailing alongside the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) during the joint exercise Malabar. Malabar is a continuing series of complex, high-end warfighting exercises conducted to advance multi-national maritime relationships and mutual security.
