Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles Parsons, equipment operator, native of Lizton, Ind., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, Alfa Company, operates a scraper at the Leatherneck Expansion project. The scraper is one of the seven different types of construction equipment being used to prepare the land for NMCB 74's move into their new camp in the expansion area of Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan.
