U.S. Army Soldiers deployed to Kosovo with Multinational Battle Group-East pose for a group photo at the end of MNBG-E’s December Soldier of the Month competition, Dec. 5, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The two-day competition included an evaluation on each competitor’s knowledge of the M16 rifle and M9 pistol, a physical fitness test, 4-mile ruck march, and tests on casualty evaluation and weapons qualification. U.S. Soldiers and multinational service members serving on NATO’s peace support mission in Kosovo have had the opportunity to test their military skills in various competitions and races throughout their deployment.
