Air Force Staff Sgt. Jacquelle Walker, native of Memphis, Tenn., security forces stationed in Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyo., participated in the Bataan Memorial Death March for the second time. A flight commander told him the story and history behind the death march and was inspired to do it in honor of those who went through it. “I was awe struck with the story,” said Walker. “I was so taken back by the stuff they went through, the gentlemen that went through it before had the real deal.” Along with his peers, Walker drove down to participate as a group and build a bond with his unit. “This is also a form of camaraderie for us,” said Walker. “We’re trying to build that family atmosphere even though we don't know each other personally, we all consider each other as family.” (U.S. Army photo by: Sgt.
