FORT BLISS, TEXAS – Air Force Senior Airmen Cody Maisey does push-ups April 19, during the Ranger Physical Fitness Test. The test, part of the 15-day Air Force Security Forces Center Ranger Assessment Course 16-1, is the first of many physically and mentally challenging events that Maisey and his fellow candidates will have to endure to get one of ten yearly slots to attend U.S. Army Ranger School. While the course is conducted by the Air Force, Soldiers from the 1st Armored Division Pre-Ranger course assisted them with grading the PT test. Maisey is a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.
