MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Chief Warrant Officer 4 Robert Armendariz addresses the audience during Master Gunnery Sgt. September Brownfield’s promotion ceremony at Camp Pendleton May 6, 2016. Armendariz is the engineer equipment officer with G-4, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group. Brownfield is the engineer equipment chief with G-4, I MHG, from Monroe, Washington, and is also the first female master gunnery sergeant in the engineer field.
