MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Master Gunnery Sgt. George Henderson reads the promotion warrant during Master Gunnery Sgt. September Brownfield’s promotion ceremony at Camp Pendleton May 6, 2016. Henderson is the staff noncommissioned officer in charge of G-4, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group. Brownfield is the engineer equipment chief with G-4, I MHG, from Monroe, Washington, and is also the first female master gunnery sergeant in the engineer field.
