U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Samuel Fuller, a native of Madison, Wis., and an instructor at the U.S. Military's Jumpmaster School, observes a Joint Base Lewis-McChord Soldier during the comprehensive test phase of a special onsite jumpmaster training program, April 13. Fuller, and fellow Fort Benning, Ga., based instructors, arrived at JBLM last week to conduct the training. Once completed, the more than 60 Soldiers attending the course will be certified as capable of directing troops out of aircraft during parachute operations. Onsite training programs, like this one, are responsible for saving the Department of Defense millions of dollars every year.
