FORT FISHER, N.C. – In an assimilated field combat lifesaver course, Pfc. Kwadwo Bosompem, of the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, runs into the line of fire to assess a fallen comrade during National Guard annual training here, June 17. Bosompem kept a cool head while he treated all the wounds on the medic dummy as the medical section incorporated sounds of incoming rounds and screams of agony from the victim. The combat lifesavers course teaches basic life-saving techniques to Soldiers for use on and off the battlefield. (Photo by Army National Guard Sgt.
