Col. Ronald A. Maul, the retiring commander of the 44th Medical Brigade, passes the brigade colors to Lt. Gen. Frank G. Helmick, commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, here April 21. The 44th was his last assignment in a career that has spanned 33 years and service in the active Army, National Guard, and U.S. Public Health Service.
