160727-N-WA993-123 YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 27, 2016) – Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class (AW/SW) Terry Stokes, from New Britain, Connecticut, dips a brush in a can of grease in preparation to do maintenance on a jettison locker on the starboard catwalk of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The maintenance of the jettison lockers is in the hands of Stokes and his teammates in the G1 flight deck division of Weapons Department. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
