An Oregon Army National Guard Soldier uses a red-light flashlight during the night land navigation portion of the Expert Infantryman Badge (EIB) event, July 17, at Camp Roberts, Calif. More than 100 Soldiers from both 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment, and 1st Battalion, 186th Infantry Regiment, initially participated in the event, which eliminates Soldiers over the course of more than 30 graded infantry tasks.
