Oregon Army National Guard Soldier, 1st Lt. Matthew Shepergerdes, with 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment, 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team completes the last steps of a 12-mile ruck march, as part of an Expert Infantryman Badge event (EIB), held at Camp Roberts, Calif., July 21. The Expert Infantryman Badge event covers five days of graded Soldiering skills and has a passing rate of approximately 10-percent.
