HOPE HULL, Ala. (Sept. 17, 2016) -- More than 150 Soldiers assigned to the 122nd Troop Command, Alabama Army National Guard, stand at attention during the change of command ceremony at Army Aviation Support Facility #1, Fort R. W. Shepherd Armory, here, today.
Col. Roger A. Presley, Jr., is the incoming commander of the 122nd. Col. Zachary E. Maner is the outgoing commander of the 122nd, and his next assignment is the Chief of Staff for the 135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Alabama Army National Guard.
Also attending the event were select members of the Alabama Army National Guard leadership and guests that included families and friends of service members participating in the ceremony. The 122nd has command and control of all of the aviation units in the Alabama Army National Guard.
