PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 5, 2016) Seaman Christopher Urra, from Miami, uses a pneumatic air hose to remove water from pad-eyes on the flight deck of the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Pad-eyes are used to secure aircraft, aircraft support equipment, ordnance and other items to the flight deck. Ronald Reagan, the Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG 5) flagship, is on patrol supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
