The SPMAGTF-SC is part of U.S. Southern Command response team staged in the Cayman Islands, ready to support U.S. disaster relief operations in the Caribbean in response to Hurricane Matthew. SPMAGTF-SC deployed to Central America in June to serve as a rapid response force during the hurricane season.
