Marines with company B and C, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, adjust the parachute gear before starting aerial insertion behind enemy lines training at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 5, 2016. The training gives the Marines the experience needed to infilrate locations unattainable to vehicles. This training allows the recon Marines to access environments unattainable to vehicles while providing minimal detection.
