A Marine with Company B, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, simulates aerial insertion behind enemy lines during static-jump training at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 5, 2016. This training allows the recon Marines to access environments unattainable to vehicles while providing minimal detection.
