ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 19, 2016) Seaman Trina Pring, from Oxnare, Calif., uses a caliper to measure her work in the machinery repair shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Pring serves aboard Ike as a machinery repairman and helps inspect, repair and maintain Ike's mechanical features. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
