U.S. Air Force Staff. Sgt. Chad Trespalacios, assigned to the1st Expeditionary Civil Engineering Group, operates a mini roller during runway repairs at Qayyarah, West Airfield, Iraq, Oct. 7, 2016. The roller compacts dirt before concrete can be poured into trenches and craters that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) destroyed the runway to disrupt coalition in the area. A Coalition of regional and international nations have joined together to enable Iraqi forces to counter ISIL, reestablish Iraq’s borders and re-take lost terrain thereby restoring regional stability and security.
