U.S. Marines with weapons platoon, Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air - Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, conduct a movement-to-contact during a live - fire range during Mission Rehearsal Exercise 2016 near the southern border of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Sept. 11, 2016. The MRX is a collective training event where the MAGTF elements collaborate to refine individual and cooperative capabilities. SPMAGTF - CR – CC is a self-sustaining expeditionary unit, designed to provide a broad range of crisis response capabilities throughout the Central Command area of responsibility, using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets, to include embassy reinforcement and tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel.
