ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 23, 2016) Seaman Dillon Haskell, from Genoa, N.Y., removes striker ring bolts on an damaged catapult in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Haskell serves aboard Ike as an aviation boatswain's mate (equipment) and helps operate and maintain Ike's aircraft launch and recovery equipment. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
