The 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) color guard stands at attention as Marines bow their heads in prayer during a ceremony at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of 1st MLG, July 1. 1st MLG was established in 1941 to provide support and services to service members. Their name has changed over the years, but their tradition and mission stay the same. Members of 1st MLG continue to support units training back home and fighting overseas.
