Marines and Sailors with 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, celebrate the 63rd Anniversary of 1st MLG, July 1. Formed in 1941 at Pearl Harbor, 1st MLG has provided support and services to several units in the Marine Corps. The 1st MLG has also conducted humanitarian relief operations around the globe and engaged in combat operations to provide combat service support to Marines in some of the most dangerous locations.
