STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. – Cmdr. Clay Pendergrass, with the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School, speaks with international students participating in NAVSCIATTS’ inaugural iteration of the Junior Officer/Noncommissioned Officer Leadership and Planning Course. JNLP is a two-week course designed for company level junior officers and senior enlisted personnel and provides international special operations forces, conventional forces and law enforcement agencies with the knowledge and skills required for the tactical deployment of special operations detachments with operational level mission planning. NAVSCIATTS, which is located at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, falls under Naval Special Warfare Group 4 and is a Security Cooperation schoolhouse operating under the United States Special Operations Command in support of Foreign Security Assistance and the geographic commander’s Theater Security Cooperation.
