Marines with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion provide security in an amphibious assault vehicle after landing on Onslow Beach, North Carolina, Dec. 5, 2016 during a mechanized raid as part of Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. Marines with Kilo Co., 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment conducted the simulated raid to practice ship-to-shore movements from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50) and refine their tactics techniques and procedures. During ARGMEUEX, Marines and will have tackled a wide range of operations and scenarios to improve their interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities with their Navy counterparts.
