Marines take the beach, combat town in raid during ARGMEUEX

Marines with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion provide security in an amphibious assault vehicle after landing on Onslow Beach, North Carolina, Dec. 5, 2016 during a mechanized raid as part of Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. Marines with Kilo Co., 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment conducted the simulated raid to practice ship-to-shore movements from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50) and refine their tactics techniques and procedures. During ARGMEUEX, Marines and will have tackled a wide range of operations and scenarios to improve their interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities with their Navy counterparts.
