Marines with Kilo Co., 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment provide security surrounding the amphibious assault vehicle they ride in during a mechanized raid Dec. 5, 2016 on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, during Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. The simulated raid was conducted to better verse the infantry Marines in ship-to-shore movements from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50). During ARGMEUEX, Marines and will have tackled a wide range of operations and scenarios to improve their interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities with their Navy counterparts.
