A Marine provides security during a mechanized raid after landing on Onslow Beach, North Carolina via amphibious assault vehicle Dec. 5, 2016 as part of Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. Marines with Kilo Co., 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment conducted the simulated raid to practice ship-to-shore movements from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50) and refine their tactics techniques and procedures. During ARGMEUEX, Marines and will have tackled a wide range of operations and scenarios to improve their interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities with their Navy counterparts.
