Marines with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion drive an amphibious assault vehicle to an objective area during a mechanized raid Dec. 5, 2016 on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina as part of Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. The ‘trackers’ transported Marines with Kilo Co., 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment in a ship-to-shore movement from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50). During ARGMEUEX, Marines and will have tackled a wide range of operations and scenarios to improve their interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities with their Navy counterparts.
