Spencer Rowell, 12 years-old, Boy Scout Troop 40, moves dirt around the memorial stones to enhance their appearance. Powell was one of 10 members of Boy Scout Troop 40, Fayetteville, N.C. to volunteer to landscape the new Memorial Walk on the anniversary of 9/11. “It feels good seeing all of the Purple Hearts, seeing all of the memorials for people who have served our country,” said Powell.
