Jacob Netzel, 17 years-old discusses plans for landscaping and further beautification for the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) Memorial Walk with his father, Lt. Col. Thomas Netzel. Lt. Col. Netzel returned from a deployment to Kuwait the night before and was able to come out and assist the scouts with their project. “It was a lot of hard work. The estimate was $40,000 that we had to raise. My son asked to do it,” said Lt. Col. Netzel. “A lot of people said it was impossible. We just kept chugging away with it.”
