Marines working on the Camp Bastion flight line have found many ways to adapt and overcome in an expeditionary environment here. Many Marines use what they can find to improve their situation. This “couch,” is nothing more than spare wire and padding, the ottoman a simple wooden crate. Little things like this allow Marines to take small breaks during the day and relax. Makeshift furniture like this can be found all along the flight line.
