    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    A Marine with Task Force Southwest fires rubber ammunition from the M203A grenade launcher during nonlethal weapons training at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 23, 2017. More than 30 Marines with the unit’s security element enhanced their nonlethal weapon skills, including firing the Mossberg 500 shotgun and practicing hand-to-hand combat techniques. Task Force Southwest is comprised of approximately 300 Marines, and will deploy to Helmand Province, Afghanistan to train, advise and assist the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and 505th Zone National Police.
