Marines with Task Force Southwest apprehend a role-playing enemy combatant during nonlethal weapons training at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 24, 2017. More than 30 Marines with the unit’s security element participated in the course, which enhanced their abilities with weapons such as the M203A grenade launcher and Mossberg 500 shotgun using rubberized ammunition, and built their hand-to-hand combat and defensive skills. Task Force Southwest is comprised of approximately 300 Marines, whose mission will be to train, advise and assist the Afghan National Army 215th Corps and 505th Zone National Police.
