Diyala provincial governor Ra'ad Al-Timimi shares a post-fast meal with Soldiers from Task Force Lightning on Oct. 18, 2006, in Baqubah, Iraq. Governor Ra'ad is flanked by Col. Brian Jones, left, commander of 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and Col. David Sutherland, commander of 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. The meal occurred after sunset and commemorates the end of the day's fast during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The meeting also marked the end of a year-long deployment for the Striker Brigade, and the arrival of the Grey Wolf Brigade, in Diyala.
