Provincial council member Ali Al-Awsi bids farewell to Lt. Col. Chris Johnson on Oct. 18, 2006, at the Diyala Governor's Center in Baqubah, Iraq. Johnson, deputy commander of the provincial reconstruction team, is at the end of a year-long deployment with 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, which is attached to Task Force Lightning.
