Maj. David Bresser, of Covington, Ky., conducts his preflight checks as he prepares for the final evaluation flight in the UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter qualification course, Sept. 17, at Simmons Army Airfield. Sixteen pilots, from the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, graduated from the course, Sept. 20, marking the beginning of the Pegasus Brigade’s transition to becoming the Army’s combat aviation brigade to most fully integrate the newer model of Blackhawk. Bresser serves as the executive officer for the 2nd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 82nd CAB.
