PACIFIC OCEAN, Calif. -- Pfc. Autumn Milles with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Low Altitude Air Defense Detachment scans around the ship aboard USS AMERICA during the Amphibious Squadron-Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration, April 8, 2017. Milles searched for anything that may impede the safety of the Marines and Sailors aboard USS AMERICA during a power projection drill. These drills are designed to test the America Amphibious Ready Group’s ability to establish a strong maritime presence in international waters.
