PACIFIC OCEAN, Calif. -- Cpl. Brenden Coffey and Lance Cpl. Caleb Batiste with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Low Altitude Air Defense Detachment stand watch aboard USS AMERICA, during the Amphibious Squadron-Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration, April 8, 2017. Coffey and Batiste look for threatening or enclosing sea-based vehicles during a power projection drill. These drills are designed to test the America Amphibious Ready Group’s ability to establish a strong maritime presence in international waters.
