A M1A2 Abrams tank is off loaded from a transport vehicle near Smardan, Romania, Apr. 5, 2017 for upcoming joint live fire training with U.S. Soldiers and Romanian Land Forces . The U.S. Soldiers who will operate the tank are from Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment,3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. The joint training will utilize a newly- installed targeting system, that can move a tank silhouette target at speeds up to 20 miles per hour for up to 340 meters.(U.S. Army photo by Martin Greeson)
