Cordage found in a lava tube. The cordage might be sennit (coconut husk fibers). The U.S. Army spends millions of dollars annually to meet its stewardship obligations here on the Island of Hawaii, which include preservation of natural and cultural resources.

PTA has the only artifact curation facility on the Island that meets the federal requirements for artifact curation? We spend close to $2,000,000 a year on historical and cultural preservation and management which include structures, land and artifacts.
