A B-1B Lancer is parked on the flightline at Royal Air Force Fairford, United Kingdom, June 9, 2017. Three B-1s from the 28th Bomb Wing, Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., operated out of RAF Fairford in support of exercises BALTOPS 17 and Saber Strike 17. The large-scale exercises foster collaboration among more than 20 nations, providing an opportunity to work with regional allies and partners for synchronized and prepared responses to regional security threats and worldwide contingency operations. The B-1 is a multi-mission, supersonic bomber that can carry the largest payload of both guided and unguided weapons in the U.S. Air Force inventory. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Curt Beach)
